DARE, DON'T BE AFRAID TO MAKE MISTAKES

DARE, DON'T BE AFRAID TO MAKE MISTAKES

Dare, Don't Be Afraid to Make Mistakes

By Remez Sasson

Don't worry if you make mistakes. Only people who dare, try, and persevere, complete tasks and achieve success.
It is so comfortable to be passive, make no effort, and stick to the familiar. However, by doing so, we allow external influences shape your life.
Daring, trying new things, and making changes, seem intimidating. It is more comfortable to suffer, complain, and stay in the same place.
Why Daring Is Intimidating?
Ø  You afraid you might make mistakes.
Ø  You are afraid to look ridiculous.
Ø  You want to avoid criticism.
Ø  There is a lack of self-esteem.
Ø  There is a lack of self-confidence.
If you wish to let the above list intimidate you, and therefore, be unhappy, complain, and stay where you are, this is your choice. However, if you want to live a greater life, you should consider taking a step beyond your fears and start daring.
It is not so difficult to do.
It is a matter of attitude. It is a matter of changing your mindset. As the saying goes, 'it is all in the mind'.
After the first step, it would seem less intimating to dare, even if you make mistakes and bad choices.
All people who achieved success, any kind of success, dared to try. They did mistakes, and they failed over and again, but they did not give up.
Where Can You Dare?
This depends on you. It is advisable to start with minor matters, and as you gain confidence, do bigger things.

Here are a few suggestions:
·         Start learning a foreign language.
·         Go meet new people and friends.
·         Take a trip abroad.
·         Redecorate your home.
·         Ask your boss for a raise.
·         Start going to the gym.
·         Dare, don't be Afraid to Make Mistakes.
After gaining some experience you will feel more confident to dare handle bigger projects, such as:
Find a better job
Go back to college or start studying at the University
Make the move you always wanted, to a new neighborhood, a new city, or a different country
Start a business
Turn a hobby into a business
These are just a few of the things you can dare to do.
If you make mistakes, it's all right. Everyone make mistakes. Learn from them and go on. As said earlier, all successful people made mistakes, but they didn't let their mistakes discourage them or deter them.
It's quite simple, though not so easy to dare, and be afraid to make mistakes. This has nothing to do with finance, physical strength or education. It is all a state of mind. It is something inside you.
You need to find the strength and courage within you. You should learn to be courageous and daring, and do things, without the need to be pushed and motivated from the outside.
You have this strength within you, you only need to be conscious of it, and strengthen it. Affirmations, visualization, and inner strength development are the tools to do this.
Learn to be a doer, by taking the initiative and acting now, without procrastinating or hesitation. Start with simple little things to gain experience and confidence.
Can you learn to speak fluently a foreign language, without making some mistakes at first?
Can you become a great cook, without learning, cooking and experimenting, and making some mistakes along the way?
Can you create a successful business, without learning, investing, making mistakes, and trying again?
Can you become an expert in any field, before you had enough experience?
Don't worry if you make mistakes on the way. By making mistakes, you learn to improve and do better.
WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?

WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?

What Are You Waiting For?

By Remez Sasson

What are you waiting for? Do you want to make changes in your life?
Do you constantly tell yourself that if things were different, you could do this and that?
Nothing is going change unless you initiate the change.
Blaming others and blaming circumstances would not make your situation better.
Daydreaming about a different lifestyle, about a vacation, about a new car, or about a new house is not enough. Wishing you were wealthy, healthy or in love, and at the same time, at the back of your mind, not believing you will ever achieve any of these things, would only make the situation worse.
What you feel and believe deep inside you is more powerful than all your resolutions, wishes and daydreaming. You should work on convincing yourself that these things are possible. When you are convinced you act differently.

Start today, not in the future

If you want to make changes in your life, they have to start right now, not in some undefined future. You are cheating and frustrating yourself when you procrastinate when you make empty resolutions, and when you believe that if circumstances were different you would have been able to do this and that.
Now, this very moment is the time to start any change, the smallest one or the biggest one. If you say, "I'll start tomorrow", you are cheating yourself, because tomorrow you will again say the same thing. There will always be another tomorrow, but no change in your life.
Change must start right now, and only you, are responsible for this change. You must devote time and effort, and make plans, and things will start changing.
There is always a subconscious inner resistance to making changes, even if one does not like his or her life. People feel more comfortable with a familiar situation, even if they don't like it. Strange, isn't it?
So, what are you waiting for? Are you going to do something about your life, or just read the article and go on with your life? If you do this, tomorrow will be more or less like today, and the day after too, and so on and on.

If you want to make changes in your life you need to start them now, this very moment, and not tomorrow. So what are you going to do?

LACK OF MOTIVATION AND ENTHUSIASM

LACK OF MOTIVATION AND ENTHUSIASM

Lack of Motivation and Enthusiasm
By Remez Sasson

Motivation and enthusiasm manifest as desire and interest, and as a driving force that pushes you to take action and pursue goals.
However, it often happens that you have the desire and interest, but you lack the motivation. This is a frustrating situation, since you want to do a certain thing, but cannot get enough inner strength and motivation to act.
There are many reasons for the lack of motivation. It could be due to a weak desire, laziness or shyness, and it could be due lack of self-esteem and self-confidence. In some cases, the reason is a physical or mental problem, which requires professional help.
Lack of motivation and lack of enthusiasm are two of the main reasons for failure and of living a mediocre life.
You cannot blame other people if you lack the enthusiasm to follow goals. You need to find a way to motivate yourself.
Lack of motivation and enthusiasm can show up everywhere, at home, at work, in relationships, in pursuing goals and in everything else. This often creates indifference, unhappiness and dissatisfaction.

Reasons for Lack of Motivation and Enthusiasm:

Ø  Lack of faith in one's abilities.
Ø  Fear of failure, due to failure in the past.
Ø  Fear of what others might say.
Ø  The habit of procrastination.
Ø  Laziness.
Ø  The feeling or belief that there are other more important things to do.
Ø  Being too stressed or nervous.
Ø  Absence of enough stimuli or incentives.

The above-mentioned reasons stifle motivation and enthusiasm and are only excuses for not acting. However, you learn to overcome and disregard them, by becoming aware of them, acknowledging them, and understanding that you can change the programming of your mind.

Sometimes, there are short bursts of motivation or enthusiasm. You start acting enthusiastically, but lose interest and motivation after a while, because you find it hard to sustain motivation or enthusiasm.
If you wish to improve your life, you need to awaken motivation and enthusiasm. Tell yourself, over and again, how much you lose by their absence, and how much you gain by having them.
You need incentive and drive for following your big dreams, and also for the performance of minor daily tasks and chores. Otherwise, laziness, absence of energy and procrastination will set in.
Instead of suffering, feeling uncomfortable and passive, it would be much better to produce enough motivation to take action and do things. This will make you feel much better, happy and satisfied.
Procrastination, laziness, indifference and passivity cause unhappiness, weakness and lack of satisfaction, but being enthusiastic, motivated and active bring a sense of joy, strength and power. By getting motivated, you act, do things, take your mind off problems and difficulties and focus on finding solutions and achieving success.

Find out where you really need motivation.

This means finding out what really matters to you and what actions would bring benefits and improvement into your life and into the life of the people around you.
Think deeply, and discover what are your real goals in life, but don't forget also to focus your attention on the little things of life, where a little motivation will help too.
Get the skills you need to take you to the finish line in whatever you do!

Get the extra push, energy and perseverance to accomplish any task and to reach any goal. Simple methods anyone can use.
Start to overcome lack of motivation in the little, everyday affairs of life
Doing small, or not so important things, which you usually avoid doing, can help you increase your inner strength. When your inner strength grows, you will be able to push yourself to do greater things, even if you are not motivated enough.
When this happens, you will possess the ability to focus on what you want to do and awaken the energy you need.

·         Wash the dishes, now, instead of later.
·         Throw the garbage, now, instead of later.
·         Turn off the TV and taking a short walk.
·         Clean and arrange the contents of one of your drawers.
·         Decide on a book to read and start reading, even if you want to do other things
.

One more, useful exercise is to devote a few minutes a day, to visualizing yourself doing something you want to do but lacks the enthusiasm and energy to do. In your imagination, see yourself acting enthusiastically and energetically. Rehearse with this mental scenario day after day.
HOW TO GET MOTIVATED

HOW TO GET MOTIVATED

How to Get Motivated
 By Remez Sasson
How many times have you started enthusiastically a weight loss program, began a bodybuilding or aerobics training program, or started learning a foreign language, only to stop after a short while?
Often, there is a lack of motivation, or only a short-lived one.
Motivation has become a popular term nowadays. There are motivational coaches and speakers, and motivational books and articles. What is it actually, and why do you need it?
Motivation is a driving force. In order to accomplish anything, you need a driving force, otherwise nothing will happen. A wish is not strong enough to make you take action. A wish is a weak desire. Only a strong desire can drive you forward, to act and accomplish aims and goals.
In order to get motivated, you need to know exactly what it is that you want, to possess a strong desire, and to be willing to do whatever it takes to accomplish your goal.
It easier to display motivation in connection with short-term goals. When it comes to long-term goals, it is not always possible to sustain the motivation for a longer period of time. This is why it is wiser to start with small goals, and after gaining experience with being motivated, you proceed to bigger goals.
If you desire to get a certain object, or accomplish a certain goal, but you don't feel motivated enough to act, it means that the desire or goal are not important enough. To be motivated to take action and do something in respect to your goal, you need to possess a strong desire.
Motivation has much to do with the emotions and the imagination, which means that if you want to increase it, you have to work on your feelings and imagination.
Tips to Increase Your Motivation:
1. Think and analyze your desire, to find out whether you really want to achieve it, and whether it is worth the effort and time.
2. Make your goal very clear. Writing it down will help.
3. Think often about your goal or desire.
4. Visualize your goal as already accomplished, and shut your mind to doubts and disbelief.
5. Read books or articles about the subject of your goal.
6. Read about people who have achieved success. This is quite inspiring
7. Think often, about the benefits you will gain by achieving your goal. This will increase your desire and motivation
8. Visualize, and think about how you would feel after achieving your goal.
9. Repeat positive affirmations such as: "I have the desire and inner strength to achieve my goal". Repeat this affirmation often, with attention and belief.
10. Start taking small steps toward your goal right now. Don't wait for the right opportunity and time.
Motivation is the powerful engine that moves you toward success and accomplishments in every area of your life.
